Are you comparing prices? Third-party booking platforms like Airbnb, Expedia, and Booking.com show prices before taxes, commission, and fees are added, so the final cost is often higher than it first appears.
Most of these platforms charge 20 to 30% commission. That’s significant for a small, family-run business. When you book directly with us, you’ll usually pay less, get better service, and avoid the added complexity of a third party.
We try to keep our direct booking prices lower than other reputable platforms, but sometimes those sites run promotions we’re not aware of. If you find a lower price for the same dates on a recognized platform, text 1-519-715-8878 with the details and we’ll match it and take an additional 5% off so you can book directly.
Here’s What to Know
If you come across a price that seems unusually low, it likely is. Some reseller sites buy discounted inventory from platforms like Expedia or Booking.com and undercut pricing. These bookings can return very little to us, sometimes not even covering basic costs like cleaning. We will always honour confirmed reservations, but booking directly helps support fair pricing and a small, family-run business.
If no options appear for your selected dates, it means we’re fully booked. We use a rolling 12-month calendar. For dates beyond that, please email kat@dreamerswriting.com to inquire.
