IMPORTANT: Prices shown include ALL taxes and fees. If you are comparing against various booking platforms (AirBnB, Expedia, etc.), they show the nightly price BEFORE taxes and fees are added to the cost. These platforms also add commission fees.

ABOUT OUR PRICES:

Most booking platforms charge 20 to 30% in commission fees, which is steep for a small family-run business. It’s so much better when guests book on our website, for multiple reasons. You’ll save money, we’ll save money, and there are no third-parties adding extra complications.

We try to keep the prices on our own booking platform lower than other REPUTABLE booking platforms, but sometimes these platforms run special deals we’re not aware of. If you see a lower price for the same dates on a different website (expedia, booking dot com, airbnb, hotels dot com, VRBO, travelocity, RBC rewards, etc.), text 1-519-715-8878 with details of where you saw it and we will reduce our rates an additional 5% lower so you can book with us instead. *Subscribe to save 10% – Subscribe first then enter your discount code when you make your reservation.

If you find a price online that seems stupidly low, that’s because it is. These really low prices are available only on predatory third-party platforms (technically 4th party platforms) that buy bulk stock somehow from companies like Expedia and Booking dot com. Then, they undercut our prices by selling off this stock really cheap online. We end up getting around $25 a night for these reservations, which doesn’t even pay for the cleaning. It’s not fair and we can’t seem to make them stop. If you book through one of these sites, we’ll honour your booking, but know that you are supporting scammers and bad business practices that are negatively impacting our family’s income. The saying “the customer is always right” is wrong. Consumers also have a responsibility to be socially responsible with their purchases and to know the details of what they’re buying so that they don’t hurt others, like our family for example. Buying from one of these platforms is similar to buying something from a country that has child labour or is working in unsafe conditions. Choose not to support this. Don’t buy from these predatory platforms, and please pay a fair price by not asking us to undercut our prices to match the pricing of these scammers.

If no options appear for a particular date within the next 12 months, this means we have no vacancies for the date(s) you specified. We work off a rolling 12 month calendar, so if your dates are more than 12 months in the future, booking online is not available, but feel free to email kat@dreamerswriting.com to book your stay.
